This yearโ€™s theme, โ€œBe Still Together,โ€ invites us to embrace moments of stillness and quiet reflection as a way to foster deeper understanding and build stronger community bonds.

Speakers from diverse faith traditions will share stories, prayers, and poems, while local musicians and ensembles guide us into moments of reflection and harmony.

Peace Across Faiths 2024

On Sunday, September 15, 2024, the Peace Across Faiths event was held at Westover Hills Presbyterian Church. The event showcased speakers from various faith traditions and was well-received by attendees.

Peace Across Faiths 2023

Arkansas Peace Week opened with "Peace Across Faiths," on Monday September 18 with the kickoff event bringing faith community from Jewish, Christian, Muslim, and non-faith backgrounds to share reflections and prayers. 

Its core mission is to celebrate the International Day of Peace on September 21 with a week full of activities that promote peace education in our society. Peace Across Faiths is sponsored by Madina Institute, Congregation B'Nai Israel, and Westover Hills Presbyterian Church.

Peace Across Faiths 2022

More than 120 Muslims, Jews, and Christians joined in companionship and had dinner together to kick-off Arkansas Peace Week. Madina was one of the sponsors for the event along with Westover Hills Presbyterian Church and Temple Bโ€™Nai Israel. We thank all of the speakers and everyone who helped make this possible! The event reminded us about the common values of the Abrahamic faiths, Alhamdulillah!
