Alhadullilah for this Ramadan

The month of Ramadan has come and gone, and with the grace Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى placed in it, it has given us an enlightening opportunity to get back on track through sadaqat, ibadat, and hasanat.

Let’s take a moment to offer gratitude for the many blessings that we received during the holy month. Firstly, we were able to complete the entire Quran within our communal nightly taraweeh, and held a taraweeh competition for youth, click HERE for pictures. Along with this, we participated in our khatam-ul-Quran dua on the night of 27th Ramadan, click to see those pictures HERE. On the same night, we received pledges for $264K from our community towards next year’s operations and programs. All of this gives us hope for the future as we move towards building a better Madina together.

Our children, both boys and girls, spent Friday nights at Madina playing, praying, learning, cooking, and enjoyed being a part of a community who empowers youth. We prayed Tahajjud and ate Suhoor together in the last 10 nights of Ramadan consistently to engage in worship together.

Leading up to Eid, we offered a beautiful Chaand Raat for sisters, click HERE to view pictures. When the beautiful day arrived, we started Eid with two prayers followed by a community brunch to celebrate the joyous day. Click HERE and HERE to see Eid pictures.

Let’s offer our gratitude and continue to solidify the goodness we have gleaned in the harvest of Ramadan, insha’Allah!
