New Islamic Year 1447H Begins

Today, Thursday, June 26, marks the 1st of Muharram and the beginning of the new Islamic year, 1447 Hijri.
The Madina Administration extends its heartfelt greetings on this blessed occasion. May this new year bring peace, prosperity, and spiritual growth to you, your loved ones, and the entire Ummah. We ask Allah (SWT) to envelope us all in His mercy, grace, and protection throughout the coming year.
As narrated by Sayyiduna 'Abdullah ibn Hisham (RA), the noble companions (RA) would supplicate at the start of every new month or year:
“O Allah, bring this [month or year] upon us with security and faith, peace and Islam, Your pleasure, and protection from Shaytan.”

(Al-Mu’jam al-Awsat by al-Ṭabarāni, Hadith 6237)
