Youth participated in this year's Ramadan Taraweeh Contest.
We celebrated their dedication and rewarded all participants with prizes on the final Taraweeh night.

Last week, the "Night of Inspo" youth event illuminated the evening until dawn with engaging activities and enlightening Halaqa sessions. Participants relished a blend of fun-filled activities and reflective discussions, exploring the art of balancing social and spiritual facets of life.
Ms. Dea Ajdini led a girls' Halaqa that left a lasting impression. The topic captivated the participants, who enthusiastically engaged and thoroughly enjoyed the session.
The Youth Halaqa was held on October 13, 2023, with Imam Nawaz and Tayseer Abubakar leading the session.
More than 25 individuals attended the Halaqa.The Guest Speaker, Tayseer Abubakar shared valuable information about the current situation in Gaza and ways to support its people. Imam Nawaz focused on the historical and spiritual significance of Masjid Al Aqsa for Muslims, emphasizing the importance of this sacred place. He also encouraged the youth to consider studying pre-law and becoming engaged in the political system, all while upholding Islamic values, to become future leaders who can make a significant impact in helping oppressed communities worldwide.
We have hosted an exceptional evening event for the youth. Esaa Mohammad led an engaging Halaqa session, and the young attendees had a great time with games, a bonfire, and delicious burgers.

This past Saturday, a youth hiking trip engaged over twenty youth in physical, spiritual, and social enrichment. Under the leadership of our dedicated youth coordinators, the group enjoyed breakfast, BBQ, hiking, canoeing, and a halaqah alongside scenic waterfalls!

Youth Taraweeh Competition
We will be holding a Youth Taraweeh competition starting Wednesday, March 22, 2023. All children enrolled in elementary, middle, or high school qualify to participate in the competition. Let's get our children excited while exploring the joys of Taraweeh Salah!
Grand prizes will be given to children who pray 8, 12, or 20 taraweeh for the entirety of the month. Special prizes will be given to children who complete the taraweeh prayer for 20+ days.
Boba Tea Night
Madina had a beautiful youth event with boba, volleyball, and card games. Imam Nawaz gave a halaqa about setting effective Ramadan goals and the importance of takqwa. Afterward, the youth socialized with various organized activities, alhamdulillah.
Bonfire & BBQ Night
Alhamdulillah our Muslim youth from Central High, Pulaski Academy, Hendrix, and UALR organized an evening of education and fun activities last Friday. Dr. Ahmad Yousef led a wonderful Halaqa about finding faith as a young adult in western society. Dozens of new and familiar faces joined to sing nasheeds with Imam Nawaz, Br. Marcus, and Br. Erhan. They also made s’mores and burgers together. We thank all the coordinators for organizing and youth for attending!
