Tornado Relief

Unfortunately many of the local community members were negatively affected by the disastrous tornadoes a few weeks ago. Madina knew we had to help, and we did this by holding a relief drive to gather emergency items for those affected. Thank you to everyone who donated items and volunteered to distribute the items to the community!

Humanitarian Food Sale

As our brothers and sisters suffer across the world, our Madina community is trying to help in any manner possible. This past Sunday, a humanitarian food sale was held to raise funds for the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria. All of the purchases directly went to help the victims through Embrace Relief.

This event was sponsored by Madina Mercy and Arkansas Culture & Dialogue Center (ACDC). There was a great variety of cuisine with a total of 15 delicious dishes and an astounding overall turnout with over 200 people.

Flood Relief Project Celebration Party

The Pakistan Flood Relief project was a project in which the community gathered clothes and needed materials for families affected by the disastrous floods in Pakistan. The goal was to load a container filled with materials, and this is the description of the celebration at the end:

Alhamdulillah, it was a big day after three weeks of hard work and heart work. Dozens of Madina Mercy volunteers loaded the container with over 600 boxes. Br Ala from ICLR and Dr. Chauhan from Madina Institute thanked everyone, and Imam Mohammed Nawaz led the community in a sending-off dua. We celebrated our community of volunteers with a BBQ meal and lots of fun for our kids.

May Allah سبحانه وتعالى accept everyone’s efforts and make it easy for all those suffering in Pakistan and beyond!

Our House Homeless Shelter

Our House Homeless Shelter in Little Rock helps homeless individuals and families stay together while they get back on their feet and feeds around 75-85 people everyday.

Madina Institute partnered with Our House to provide dinner on October 15.

We are grateful to our volunteers who took the meal and served at the shelter. May Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى bless the donors whose donations made the meal possible.

Pakistan flood relief project is the opportunities in which you can serve Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى through serving the community. May Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى accept all of our efforts, Ameen!
