Our Mission

In the Name of Allah, we seek His Blessing and Assistance. All Praise and Gratitude is due to Allah alone. Salutations & Peace be upon the Messenger of Allah.

·        To develop, support and promote a comprehensive Islamic way of life based on compassion and community service as delineated in the Holy Qur’an, and the tradition of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

·        To actively meet our community’s social, spiritual, and educational needs

·        To develop our youth to be thoughtful and reflective leaders of our schools & communities

·        To build bridges with the community at large through interfaith engagement and service

Our Vision

Madina Institute aims to be a premier community center which will include prayer services, religious guidance for youth and adults, youth leadership training programs, community service opportunities, and interfaith outreach. The Institute promotes a spiritual and inclusive understanding of Islam that is based on peace, tolerance, acceptance, interfaith engagement, and gender equality. In an age when Muslim communities are divided by ethnic, sectarian, and ideological factionalism, Madina Institute hopes to revive the values of love, compassion, and unity that rest at the core of our beloved religion. Our programs will accomplish this by maintaining a commitment to the Qur’an and the Prophetic way while encouraging open dialogue, mature discussion, and free thinking.

Our Philosophy

We, at Madina Institute, believe that every human being is uniquely created and called to a compelling purpose. We are committed to help students discover, develop, and deploy their calling.

We, at Madina institute, believe that every human being is created with the potential to achieve. We are committed to help students excel in every area of pursuit, especially in their area of unique gifting.

We strive to pursue righteousness as presented in the Sacred Texts; The Qur’an, and Authentic Prophetic Sunnah. We will make every effort to balance grace and truth and ultimately point students to the person and message of Sayyidina Muhammad, sallallahu ‘alaihi wa aalihi wa sallam.

Our Principles

·        Education

·        Illumination

·        Compassion

We seek to create a healthy educational environment that is nurturing and empowering; where all can grow, develop, and maximize their potential; transform themselves, their communities, and the world, and become purposeful, productive spiritual Muslim adults.
