Nisf Sha'ban: The Night of Forgiveness
Join us on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 7:00 pm to commemorate Nisf Sha'ban (The Night of Forgiveness).
Mu‘adh b. Jabal رضي الله عنه narrated that the Rasoolullah ﷺ said: "Allah (swt) looks at His creation during the middle night of Sha‘ban and forgives all of them, except an idolator and the one who harbors rancor." (Ibn Majah 1390; Ibn Hibban 1980; Shaykh Albani has authenticated this hadeeth).
Imam Shafi رحمه الله said: "It is one of the five nights of the year in which supplications are not turned away. It is a night in which Allah Ta’alaa shows special mercy to His slaves." Hence we must seek His (swt) mercy by spending most of the night in worship, supplications, and seeking forgiveness.

Our volunteer orientation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
We kindly request all those who have not yet signed up to please complete their registration before the orientation.
As the blessed month of Ramadan draws near, we warmly invite you to be part of our masjid’s efforts to make this sacred time truly special for our community. We are seeking volunteers in various areas, and your time and service will, InshaAllah, be a source of immense reward.
Students are welcome and may earn volunteer service hours.

Ramadan Welcome Event & Pre-Ramadan Bazaar
Please join us as we celebrate the arrival of Ramadan on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 12:00 PM.
In collaboration with the Sunday School, we will be hosting a Pre-Ramadan Bazaar, where you can shop for your favorite items. The program will also feature children’s presentations, nasheeds, and salawat, making it a joyful and meaningful gathering for the whole community.
Food will be served.
Interfaith Children & Youth Meditation Workshop
Children and youth in grades 3-12 are invited to participate in an afternoon meditation workshop led by The Rev. Susan Sims Smith on Sunday, Feb. 1 from 1:30-4:30 pm at the Arkansas House of Prayer & St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church. This workshop will offer perspectives from many different faith traditions and encourage youth to draw upon the wisdom of their own faith tradition as they explore silence and stillness together.
Parents/guardians welcome! Cost: $5 per child/youth participant.

Interfaith Volunteer Network: Meal Packing Party
Join the Interfaith Volunteer Network for a meal packing party with the Hunger Relief Army on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 2 pm at Westover Hills Presbyterian Church. Individuals and families from all faith backgrounds are invited to participate in this fun and fast-paced service event. We'll assemble 10,000 meal kits and distribute them to local food pantries. All ages and abilities welcome. Come ready to serve and make a new friend from a different religion!
