Month of Shaban

The 1st of Sha’ban will be on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
Sha’ban is also called the Month of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to fast repeatedly in the month of Sha’ban. Ummul Momineen Sayyidah Aa’ishah رضي الله عنها said, “I never saw the Messenger of Allah fast for a complete month except for Ramadan, and I never saw Him do more voluntary fasting in any month than He ﷺ did in the month of Sha’ban” (Al-Bukhari).

May Allah (swt) accept our fasts and good deeds in this coming month, help us prepare for Ramadan and bring many blessings to our ummah. Ameen!
